Your personal data is processed by Shelflike acting as data controller, in the scope described below. Requests can be sent through our contact page.
Personal data processed
Identity and contact data (username, email address), profile data (bio, images), transaction security data (session records) and content data arising from your use of the platform (shelf, diary, reviews, messages).
Purpose and legal basis
Data is processed to form and perform the membership agreement (Art. 5/2-c), to meet our legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç) and for our legitimate interest in securing and improving the service (Art. 5/2-f). Optional data such as a profile photo relies on your explicit consent.
Transfers
Data may be stored on servers of hosting and database suppliers located abroad, in line with Art. 9 safeguards, and may be shared with competent public authorities upon lawful request.
Your rights (Art. 11)
You have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to have inaccurate data corrected and data erased when the grounds disappear, to have such actions notified to third parties, to object to results produced solely by automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damages. Requests are answered within 30 days.
